Live Field Report: Daily Weather Digest Now Available on Smartphones
The agrometeomonitoring service has launched daily information digests for agricultural producers in Tatarstan. Key weather indicators, critical for fieldwork and crop monitoring, are now available to farmers in a convenient mobile format.
Data for the digests comes directly from the network of automated weather stations deployed throughout the republic and is updated daily.
Each digest contains the following parameters: air and soil temperature at various depths; precipitation amount and intensity; wind speed and direction; relative humidity; and atmospheric pressure.
Live weather reports allow farm managers and agronomists to make timely decisions about sowing, crop treatment, and harvesting times, as well as assess the risks associated with hazardous weather events.
