The introduction of digital technologies in Tatarstan's agro-industrial complex was discussed in Innopolis.

A seminar and meeting on the digitalization of the agro-industrial complex was held in Innopolis today. It was attended by Marat Zyabbarov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, heads of agricultural and food departments in the republic's municipal districts, and heads of large agro-industrial enterprises.

During the seminar and meeting, Roman Shaikhutdinov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, spoke about Innopolis as the first city in the modern history of the Russian Federation. He also discussed ideas for creating advanced training courses in information technology in the agricultural sector.

Marat Zyabbarov noted that agro-industrial enterprises working in digital areas and automation produce greater results in terms of indicators, output, and labor productivity. The minister also noted the significant role of automation, digitalization, and modern technologies.

Acting Mayor of Innopolis Ildar Khuzzyatov presented Innopolis as a testing ground for new technologies and services. "The city is built the way IT specialists dream. It offers comfortable housing and infrastructure, the special economic zone is the center of business activity, and the university is the intellectual core and talent pool," he added.

Innopolis Special Economic Zone CEO Renat Khalimov reported that 342 companies are represented in the SEZ, over 12,700 jobs have been created, and 311 billion rubles have been invested. It includes consortiums in agro-industrial, financial, medical technologies, cybersecurity, smart cities, educational technologies, and electric mobility.

Vasiliy Zakiev, a lecturer in the Master's program in Technological Entrepreneurship at Innopolis University, spoke on the topic of "Artificial Intelligence for the Agro-Industrial Complex." He explained that artificial intelligence is approaching the level of expert performance. It is a system capable of autonomously performing cognitive tasks that deliver economically significant results: increased revenue, reduced costs, and reduced risks.

At the pitch session, company executives presented projects in the areas of robotic systems production, agricultural machinery analysis, digital livestock management, exterior trait assessment, agricultural drone production, and freeze-drying equipment.

During the working visit to Innopolis, the seminar-meeting participants also visited the Innopark technology park, which showcases innovative solutions in equipment manufacturing and assembly, automation of industrial processes, and information technology.

At Innopolis University, participants discussed the development of industrial robotics, projects of the Artificial Intelligence Center for Agriculture, remote monitoring systems based on unmanned aerial systems, as well as geospatial solutions and services for territorial management.
