On the eve of Mother's Day, a charity event for mothers and children in difficult life situations was held in Zelenodolsk.
The previous day, a large-scale charity event, "Beauty Day," was held in Zelenodolsk. It was organized by the Zelenodolsk Dairy Processing Plant and the social project "Preobrazhenie" (Transfiguration), with the support of the Zelenodolsk Cultural Development Center. The event was attended by 29 single mothers and 38 children. These families are in difficult life situations and are wards of the "Mama's Nest" crisis center.
A range of beauty treatments designed to enhance their beauty were offered to the women. Professionals from Elina Shangaraeva's Kazan studio provided free hair, makeup, manicures, eyebrow shaping, and much more. Participants also received a consultation with a psychologist and relaxing massage treatments.
While the mothers rested and recuperated, a rich entertainment program was available for all the children. A highlight of the celebration was the premiere of the new cartoon "Hug Me! The Tale of How Obnimashka Wanted to Save the World," commissioned by ZMK. The young guests were the first to see the new animated film, which continues the story of the elephants Obnimama and Obnimashka—the heroes of the Obnimashka baby food brand. The children also enjoyed a performance by bubble artists and a magician, and actively participated in games with entertainers dressed as elephants.
"It's symbolic that the celebration took place on the eve of Mother's Day. Events like these are so important: they give our mothers the opportunity to feel support, care, and attention—something they sorely lack in their everyday lives. We sincerely thank our long-standing partner, ZMK, and the Preobrazhenie project for this beautiful, vibrant celebration. I'm sure it will long remain in the hearts of all the participants," noted Melania Apraksina, director of the Mom's Nest crisis center.
At the end of the celebration, a professional photo shoot was organized for all participants. Each mother received a souvenir photo magnet.
"On Mother's Day, we want every woman to feel important, loved, surrounded by care and support. Single mothers especially need this, and for them we created this celebration. Together with the "Transfiguration" project, we created a space where each participant had the opportunity to escape the usual routine for at least a few hours, feel cared for, and discover more beauty, confidence, and inner strength. We are grateful to the district and the center's administration for their response, providing the venue for the event, and assisting in organizing the campaign. Thanks to our joint efforts, this day truly became meaningful for those who especially need this support," said Aufar Galiev, CEO of ZMK JSC.
All guests also received gift baskets containing ZMK dairy products.
