A meeting was held at the Ministry under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov on the topic: "Readiness of dairy farms for work in the FGIAS PR and upcoming tasks for 2025". The event was also attended by Deputy Minister Gelyus Bayazitov, Head of the Main Veterinary Department of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan Timur Galeev, Deputy Head of LLC "RC "PLINOR" Petr Moskalenko, Director of the NPO SOYUZPLEM Vilsur Aliullov and other officials.
Deputy Minister Gelyus Bayazitov spoke about the readiness of dairy farms for work in the FGIAS PR and upcoming tasks for 2025 in his report. He pointed out common errors, the importance of the pedigree of breeding animals and the need to confirm the authenticity of origin in genetic laboratories.
"From 01.01.2026, confirmation of origin by DNA profile should be 100% for cows, for heifers it will be necessary to send biomaterial for DNA testing up to 30 days of age," the deputy minister noted.
Since the beginning of the year, the number of breeding dairy cows has increased.
According to Gelyus Bayazitov, this, along with increased productivity, is one of the indicators of the effectiveness of breeding work.
"In general, the dynamics of breeding farms over the past 5 years have been positive. Productivity growth +29%. In 2019, 7,654 kg were milked from 1 cow, in 2024 9,884 kg (+2,230 kg), which is not only the result of improving genetic potential, but also the introduction of advanced technologies in feeding, maintenance, as well as elements of digitalization," the Deputy Minister emphasized.
The Deputy Minister invited all participants to visit the large International Agro-Industrial Event "Agrovolga", which will be held at the Kazan Expo IEC in July.
"From July 9 to 11, 2025, the Republican Competition of Breeding Animals "Beauty of Agrovolga" will be held as part of the International Agro-Industrial Exhibition "Agrovolga 2025". Animals - first-calf heifers and heifers from breeding farms in 17 districts of the republic participate in the competition of breeding animals," he noted.
