Today, at the premises of MTZ Tatarstan LLC, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Karimov held a meeting of the national headquarters for preparing equipment for field work in 2026. Over 200 specialists also participated, including heads and mechanization consultants of municipal district agricultural and food departments, heads and chief engineers of agricultural enterprises and agroholdings, and suppliers and manufacturers of agricultural machinery and spare parts.
Marat Karimov spoke about the work and objectives of engineering services for 2026. This year, 11,000 tractors, 2,500 trucks, 880 seeding units, 4,600 drills, and 5,300 tillage machines will be used in the fields. Farms have allocated 3.3 billion rubles for equipment repairs.
The Deputy Minister emphasized that since the beginning of the year, 17,000 tons of diesel fuel and 2,000 tons of motor gasoline have been delivered to farms, representing 50% of the required volume for sowing. Agreements with the oil companies Tatneft and TAIF have been signed this year to provide regional support, providing 140,000 tons of subsidized fuel annually. This volume is sufficient for the entire agricultural cycle.
During the meeting, participants viewed displays of agricultural machinery, agricultural equipment, and repair facilities, and discussed service and warranty support for equipment, terms of supply for agricultural machinery and spare parts, the safe operation of self-propelled vehicles, and the latest seed treatment technologies.
