Today, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan — Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov and Deputy Minister Dmitry Yashin visited Buinsky District on a working visit. He was accompanied on the trip by the Head of Buinsky Municipal District Ranis Kamartdinov and the Head of the Department of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan in Buinsky District Ranis Gabitov.
The Minister visited Buinsky Sakhar LLC of AK BARS Holding Company and got acquainted with the processes of sugar beet processing and sugar production. Director of the processing plant Andrei Ermoolenko noted that the enterprise can process more than 700 thousand tons of beets per production season and produce more than 100 thousand tons of white crystalline sugar.
Before being processed, sugar beets undergo several stages of testing. The quality of the new harvest is determined in the raw materials laboratory. Determining the indicators is an important process. After all, it depends on how much finished sugar will be obtained from the raw materials.
Then the beets are sent to piles, from where they are fed via a hydraulic conveyor to the plant, where they are cleaned and cut into shavings, from which diffusion juice is subsequently obtained (the desugared shavings are sent to drying, from which granulated pulp is obtained).
After heating, the purified syrup is sent for boiling, where further evaporation of water and crystallization of sucrose occurs. The resulting mass is sent to centrifuges, as a result of which white crystalline sugar and feed molasses are obtained.
Then, at the base of Zarya LLC, Marat Zyabbarov examined the dug up sugar beets of the Skala variety of domestic selection. The Russian hybrid has a sugar content of 16.2%, and the average yield is 400 c/ha. General Director of Zarya LLC Farid Mudarisov also showed winter wheat fields.
During the working visit, the Head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan got acquainted with the sunflower harvesting of the peasant farm Sharafutdinov F.B.
