The fifth training at the Farmer's School has begun in Tatarstan. The educational project of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rosselkhozbank and Kazan State Agrarian University will train 35 people in the areas of "Cooperation" and "Fish Farming". After training, students will have to present their developed business plans, receive diplomas of professional retraining and begin to create new agricultural facilities.
Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Rustem Gainullov emphasized that all graduates of the Farmer's School are now actively implementing projects related to the development of small-scale farming in rural areas. And this allows us to solve the issues of creating new jobs and ensuring food security in the republic.
The Farmer's School has proven itself for those who want to grow in the profession and learn how to manage their own business. Small businesses in Tatarstan account for a significant share of agricultural production, and this area is given special attention by Rais of the Republic Rustam Minnikhanov. Over several years, 144 people have graduated from the project, who successfully defended their business projects, and every fifth of them became the recipient of a grant from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan,” noted Lyalya Kudermetova, Director of the Tatarstan branch of Rosselkhozbank.
50 subjects of the Russian Federation are participating in the new stream of the “Farmer’s School”, including 15 participating for the first time. The total number of students exceeds 1,100 people.
The project corresponds to the goals and objectives of the national project “Small and Medium Entrepreneurship”.
