In Kazan, the business plans of the participants of the fifth stream of the educational project of the Russian Agricultural Bank "Farmer's School" were presented. The commission, consisting of representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of Tatarstan, Kazan State Agrarian University, and the Russian Agricultural Bank, reviewed more than 30 business projects, and almost all of them received high marks for their deep elaboration and relevance.

Tatyana Kirova is a long-timer of the Farmer's School in Tatarstan: her first business project was the same age as the school itself. Five years ago, the entrepreneur received her first knowledge and skills in poultry farming here. Now she has her own poultry farm, dairy and meat farming is successfully developing, and there is a pond with grain-fed carp. The production of valuable fish species is next in line. A sturgeon farm in Tatarstan became the topic of Tatyana's new business plan, which she presented to the expert committee this year.

"I think this will be a successful project. The market of Tatarstan and Russia is not saturated with valuable fish species. According to our business plan, Lena sturgeon weighing up to one kilogram will be kept in a closed warm hangar in a pool - this is a hybrid of an improved breed that grows faster and has promising taste qualities. We plan to reach a fairly large volume of 26-28 tons of commercial fish per year," said Tatyana.

35 people became participants in the fifth stream of the "Farmer's School" in the republic. These are beginning farmers living in 22 municipalities of Tatarstan.

"All business projects are sufficiently thoroughly worked out and have every chance of successful implementation in the future. We believe that the students approached the learning process seriously and responsibly, deeply immersed themselves in the topic, they asked experts and teachers many difficult questions. During the training process, they had a good opportunity to establish contacts with each other, with representatives of scientific organizations, various government agencies and departments,” noted the head of the Department of Economics and Organization of Production at Kazan State Agrarian University, Doctor of Economics, Farit Mukhametgaliev.
