The Trade Union of Workers of the Agro-Industrial Complex of the Russian Federation is 105 years old
Today, the Ministry held a ceremonial meeting of the Tatarstan Republican Committee of the Trade Union of Workers of the Agro-Industrial Complex of the Russian Federation on the occasion of the 105th anniversary of the Trade Union of Workers of the Agro-Industrial Complex of the Russian Federation. It was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Lenar Garipov, Member of the Presidium of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Elena Kuzmicheva, Chairperson of the Tatarstan Republican Organization of the Trade Union of Workers of the Agro-Industrial Complex of the Russian Federation Farida Garifullina, chairpersons of district organizations of the Trade Union and primary trade union organizations of enterprises in the industry.
"105 years ago, the workers of the agro-industrial complex of our republic managed to create a public organization - a trade union, which for many decades became the most active defender of the interests of workers of the agro-industrial complex. All these years, the trade union has been solving the main task - protecting the rights and social guarantees of trade union members. Today, looking back at the past years, it is clear that the work started by predecessors was not interrupted, but was preserved and developed. And today our Trade Union, preserving the wonderful traditions of past years, continues to carry out targeted work, solving its main tasks to defend the interests of its workers in the agro-industrial complex,” noted Lenar Garipov.
The meeting discussed the state of affairs in the field of labor protection and conditions, wages for workers in the industry and improving the housing conditions of those working in the countryside.
For their contribution to the development of the trade union movement, the chairmen of district organizations and representatives of primary trade union organizations of enterprises in the agro-industrial complex were awarded letters of gratitude and certificates of honor.
