This weekend, the Trade Union Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan organized a trip to the Yelabuga municipal district for the employees of the department's office. During the trip, they visited the livestock complex of Mir LLC, Ammonium Agrotechnology LLC, and the museums named after I. I. Shishkin and N. A. Durova. Then they went on a tour of the city.
The livestock complex of Mir LLC is designed for more than 2,000 heads of cattle. The agroholding has been operating since 2020. It is also one of the largest investors in the Yelabuga district and continues to expand. The farm already has several cowsheds, calf buildings, grain warehouses and a number of other utility blocks. Three cowsheds with a capacity of 600 heads each are currently under construction. The first building will be launched in September. The construction of two more buildings is planned to be completed by the end of this year.
In July, 407 Holstein breeding heifers were brought in from Denmark. During this time, the animals have already settled in and are doing well. In September, it is planned to bring in another 400 cows.
OOO Mir produces and sells 110 tons of premium milk daily in Udmurtia and Tatarstan. The complex's managers plan to increase the number of livestock and milk yields.
At OOO Ammonium AgroTechnology, the staff studied the operation of the grain drying complex. Today, the company processes about 23.5 thousand hectares of land in the Yelabuga and Mendeleyevsky districts, along with forage crops.
"Storage is currently carried out in polyethylene sleeves, since we do not have time to build warehouse capacity due to the pace of our expansion. The technology is good, it allows us to gain time, allowing raw grain, especially on such rainy days, to lie for several months without losing quality. Therefore, the harvesting technology is quite simple,” noted the director of Ammonium Agro Technologies LLC, Alexander Manankin.
The grain drying complex, which has been completed and is already functioning, is the first stage, the second is the seed line, which is still under construction. In the seed line, in addition to processing and drying, the grains will be sorted by several parameters: calibration by size, weight, a photo separator that will form seeds by color and shape, then comes the seed dressing and packaging.
The company sells grain for food and feed purposes, and also uses it for seeds.
After visiting agricultural facilities, the employees of the Ministry's Office got acquainted with the history of the city of Yelabuga and visited museums.
