Today, the Ministry held a videoconference meeting on the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Tatarstan chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov. Deputy ministers, heads of municipal districts, heads of agricultural and food departments, heads of departments and major investors took part in it.
Dmitry Yashin reported on the progress of harvesting in the districts of the Republic of Tatarstan, identified the districts where the highest grain yields in the Republic of Tatarstan were achieved, these are Tetyushsky, Menzelinsky, Zainsky and Aksubaevsky municipal districts. The deputy minister also reported on the liming of acidic soils and the accumulation of mineral fertilizers for the 2025 harvest.
Head of the Engineering and Technical Support Department of the Agro-Industrial Complex Ilnar Gabbasov reported on the use of the grain harvesting complex, including the main tillage for the 2025 harvest. The fallow plan is 1.66 million hectares, to date 144.4 thousand hectares have been processed, which is 8.7% of the plan. The daily potential of soil-cultivating units is 50 thousand hectares. In total, there are 3,000 units in the Republic of Tatarstan, 510 of which are in use, he noted.
Deputy Minister Gelyus Bayazitov summed up the results of livestock farming for the first half of 2024. According to the results of work for 6 months, agricultural formations produced 883.5 thousand tons of milk, 205.2 thousand tons of livestock and poultry meat, 649 million eggs, which is 107%, 98% and 100%, respectively. The cattle population is 606.7 thousand heads, 220.6 thousand heads of cows, 53 thousand heads of sheep and goats, 464.4 thousand heads of pigs, 16.4 million heads of poultry, 19.2 thousand heads of horses, he said.
