Today, zonal seminars - meetings on crop formation issues started at the premises of OOO AF "Nur" in Tetyushsky District. It was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov and Deputy Ministers Dmitry Yashin, Rafael Fattakhov, heads of agro-industrial enterprises and agricultural producers of the Republic of Tatarstan, heads of departments of agriculture and food of the Republic of Tatarstan, consultants on agriculture and mechanization from 7 municipal districts.
During the event, issues of organizing harvesting work, sowing winter crops, primary tillage and filling seeds for next year's harvests were considered.
Marat Zyabbarov noted that harvesting work has already begun in 13 districts of the republic. To date, 22 thousand tons of grain have been threshed with an average yield of 36 c/ha.
In total, 1 million 332 thousand hectares of grain crops, 35 thousand hectares of corn, 482 thousand hectares of oilseeds need to be threshed. Sugar beets will be collected from an area of 55 thousand hectares, potatoes - 4.3 thousand hectares, vegetables - 1.9 thousand hectares.
“This year, combine operators cannot do without assistants, the workload is large - this includes forage harvesting, harvesting. At the beginning of August, it is necessary to start sowing. In this regard, each crew must be staffed,” urged Marat Zyabbarov.
Then the seminar participants were told about the features of winter sowing in 2024. Yuriy Erov, General Director of the Elite Seeds of Tatarstan Association, focused on the selection of varieties, preparation of seed material and soil, and once again emphasized the need to care for crops in the autumn.
The Director of the Federal State Budgetary Institution TsAS Tatarsky spoke about the organization of nutrition of winter crops and restoration of soil fertility.
The Director of the Federal State Budgetary Institution Tatmeliovodkhoz Mars Khismatullin introduced the current melioration programs. He clearly showed changes in crop yields when cultivating crops on dry land and with irrigation.
At the end of the seminar, the participants were shown how the main soil cultivation should be carried out.
