In the new season of “Digital Education” (https://digital-likbez.datalesson.ru/), Avito will talk about the rules of safe shopping and publishing ads on the Internet.
Avito and ANO “Digital Economy”, with the support of the Ministry of Education of Russia and the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia, launched the new season of the all-Russian educational project in the field of digital literacy and cybersecurity “Digital Educational Program”.
Digital literacy and cybersecurity lessons for schoolchildren as part of the “Digital Education” project will be held in all regions of the country. The materials of the new season of Avito are devoted to the rules of safe transactions on the Internet. The characters in the videos will tell how to choose reliable sellers and products, communicate safely through platform tools, arrange delivery, the rules for posting ads, and also give tips on saving personal data and money when making online transactions.
This is not the first year that Avito has been implementing projects aimed at improving the digital literacy of children and adults. We are confident that the characters we created for Digital Education will help children feel more confident on the Internet, and their parents will be less worried about the safety of their children,” said Natalya Yumatova, Product Director of Avito’s Trust and Security Department.
“Our partner Avito in the new season of Digital Educational Program raises an extremely important topic that concerns safe transactions on the Internet. Services for posting advertisements and searching for goods and services have become familiar to us, but at the same time, when using them, it is necessary to be vigilant and be able to protect yourself and your loved ones from fraudulent schemes. Together with the cartoon characters, using simple and understandable examples, users will be able to learn more about how to distinguish a reliable seller or platform, how to make safe transactions, as well as make purchases and delivery without unnecessary difficulties,” comments Olga Franchuk, Deputy Director of the “Personnel for digital economy" ANO "Digital Economy".
Thanks to the videos, schoolchildren will be able not only to learn how to behave safely on the Internet, but also to increase their level of digital literacy in an accessible interactive format. The formation of these skills in the younger generation corresponds to the objectives of the national project “Digital Economy”, aimed at ensuring digital security and training qualified IT personnel in Russia.
