In 2023, the volume of finished product production at Kazan Fat Plant exceeded one million tons
One of the largest domestic producers of oil and fat products, Kazan Fat Plant JSC (KZhK), summed up the results for 2023. During the reporting period, the production of finished products at the enterprise amounted to 1.12 million tons, which is 37% more than in 2022.
The volume of production of bottled oil increased by 31%, mayonnaise and ketchup - by 14%, sauces - by 9%. The overall production of vegetable oils and meal also showed strong growth: compared to 2022, rapeseed oil was produced by 71% more, sunflower oil by 41%, rapeseed meal by 66%, and sunflower meal by 39%.
The volume of sales of finished products of KZhK at the end of 2023 also increased by 41% compared to 2022. Revenue from sales of finished products increased by 18% to 41.1 billion rubles (excluding VAT).
According to Nielsen, Mr.Ricco ketchup at the end of 2023 took 1st place in sales of premium ketchups and third place in sales of all ketchups in Russia. Mr.Ricco mayonnaise took 2nd place in the sales ranking of the four main flavors of mayonnaise with 67% fat content. At the same time, Mr.Ricco Provencal 67% fat mayonnaise showed the highest growth in sales volume in its category (growth dynamics amounted to 144%).
Also in 2023, KZHK actively developed its export business. 250 thousand tons of vegetable oils were sent to China, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and other countries.
