Educational center "PhosAgro" was opened at KSAU
Today the opening of the PhosAgro educational center took place at the Kazan State Agrarian University. The ceremony was attended by State Secretary - Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Maxim Uvaidov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov and others.
PhosAgro is a Russian company that occupies one of the leading positions in the world in terms of production volumes of phosphorus-containing mineral fertilizers.
Since its establishment, the company has increased production volumes of agrochemical products (mineral fertilizers, feed and technical phosphates, etc.) by more than 3 times - from 3.4 million tons in 2001 to 11.1 million tons in 2022.
The number of types of fertilizers produced by PhosAgro over the same period increased from 5 to 57 items, and labor productivity for each company employee increased 7 times.
The PhosAgro company actively cooperates with the Republic of Tatarstan. In the 2022-2023 academic year, the PhosAgro PJSC company gave 30 lectures for 3-4 year undergraduate students at the Institute of Agrobiotechnologies and Land Management of Kazan State Agrarian University in the areas of training: Agronomy, Agrochemistry and Agro-Soil Science, Horticulture, which were attended by 100 students; and for master's students of 1-2 courses in master's programs: Agronomy and Agrochemistry and Soil Science, 15 lectures were given and listened to, attended by 40 students.
In the 2023-2024 academic year, the PhosAgro PJSC company, starting from October, gave and listened to 6 lectures to undergraduate and graduate students in the same areas of training, attended by 150 students.
“I am confident that the opening of the PhosAgro educational center will be a serious help in training highly qualified specialists, will contribute to the further development of the agro-industrial complex, stabilization of crop production, strengthening food security,” noted the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture in his speech economy and food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov.
