16 November 2023, Thursday

In the Republic of Tatarstan, participants in the educational project “Farmer School” completed the theoretical part of their training. At the moment, students are learning from leading entrepreneurs implementing projects in the areas of agritourism and processing of agricultural products.

The first on-site classes were held at production sites in the Verkhne-Uslonsky and Kamsko-Ustinsky districts. The participants visited a recreation center and bathhouse complex located on the banks of the Volga, and the only grape plantation in Tatarstan. Entrepreneurs shared their experience in launching a business project, participating in grant competitions, finding partners, and attracting tourists not only from the republic, but also from other regions.

Meeting with successful entrepreneurs always gives a new incentive to achieve your goal. The experience that we learned during practical classes will be useful to us not only in presenting business projects, but also in future activities.

Formation of personnel for the agro-industrial complex is an important step in the development of agriculture. The Farmer's School project is aimed at solving this issue, the program of which is similar to professional retraining and is structured in such a way that students immediately apply all the acquired knowledge in practice. Thus, 104 graduates of the program have already launched their business projects in the field of agriculture. Based on the results of the new training course, another 40 projects are planned to be presented.

The fourth wave of the “Farmer School” in the Republic of Tatarstan will end in December this year. Students undergo training in two areas: “Rural agrotourism” and “Technology for processing crop and livestock products.” The project is being implemented with the support of Rosselkhozbank and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic.
