Results of the 25th Russian agro-industrial exhibition “Golden Autumn-2023”: the piggy bank of Tatarstan farmers was replenished with gold medals
During the period from October 4 to October 7, Tatarstan farmers took part in the XXV Russian Agro-Industrial Exhibition “Golden Autumn - 2023”.
During the exhibition, a series of industry competitions were held, organized by departments of the Ministry of Agriculture. The competition program included works and scientific developments prepared by the agricultural chemical and reclamation services of the republic in various nominations. The results of the competitions of the Department of Science and Technology Policy and Education were summed up on October 6, at the exhibition site of the Russian State Agrarian University-Moscow Agricultural Academy named after Timiryazev, where the award ceremony took place. We remind you that the scientific achievements and developments of Tatarstan scientists were awarded the highest awards of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture: four gold and two silver medals were won by scientific and design developments carried out with the participation of scientists and specialists in the reclamation industry, agrochemical service together with the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The results of the competition of the Department of Plant Growing, Mechanization, Chemicalization and Plant Protection have become known.
Thus, in the competition “For achieving high performance in growing crop products and increasing soil fertility” in the nomination “Increasing soil fertility”, the FSBI Center for Agrochemical Service “Tatar” was awarded a Gold Medal “For monitoring soil fertility of agricultural lands.”
Specialists from the Federal State Budgetary Institution “CAS “Tatarsky” presented materials on scientific and information support for monitoring soil fertility in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2023, which includes:
- agrochemical examination of soils;
- soil surveys;
- organization of activities for liming and phosphorite treatment of acidic soils;
- monitoring the effective use of mineral and organic fertilizers;
- launching field experiments on the use of chemical agents;
- chemical and analytical laboratory studies;
- microbiological laboratory tests;
- application of digital technologies.
Also in this competition, the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Management of Privolzhskmeliovodkhoz” was awarded a Gold Medal “For the effective use of mineral and organic fertilizers.” At the competition, scientists and specialists of the reclamation industry and the Kazan Agrarian University presented a joint scientific work, which is a systematic presentation of the issues of development and implementation of innovative methods for the development of reclamation agriculture and increasing soil fertility.
The development of the reclamation complex, as well as increasing soil fertility through agrochemical reclamation, is one of the priority areas for the development of the agro-industrial complex of the republic. Scientific developments and recommendations of agricultural scientists today ensure high efficiency of reclamation and agrochemical measures. Within the framework of federal and republican target programs, more than 5 thousand hectares of modern irrigated land are introduced annually, about 40 hydraulic structures are overhauled, more than 30 water wells are drilled,” and liming of acidic soils is carried out on an area of 70-80 thousand hectares.
Let us note that agrochemists and land reclamation specialists of Tatarstan annually take an active part in the “Golden Autumn” exhibition and, once again, the scientific and practical work of these services was awarded the highest rating by the Russian Ministry of Agriculture.
