In 2021-2022, the Russian Agricultural Bank in Tatarstan implemented a whole range of measures to increase the human resources potential of the agro-industrial complex. Among the most successful projects is the Farmer's School educational program aimed at assisting in the creation of new financially sustainable and profitable farms, improving the efficiency of existing ones, developing and promoting best business practices in the agro-industrial complex.

The Republic of Tatarstan took part in the implementation of this project three times. The training took place on the basis of the Kazan State Agrarian University with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.
For two years, 104 students of the "Farmer's School" in Tatarstan underwent theoretical training, studied the legal aspects of farming, financial business models, marketing basics, got acquainted with the latest agricultural technologies, were trained at leading enterprises in the industry and developed their own business plans in the following specialties: "Poultry farming", "Dairy and meat cattle breeding", "Cattle breeding", "Horse breeding", "Crop breeding".

The Farmer's School is a unique project that brings together energetic and purposeful agricultural producers who are ready to start a business from scratch. The training program is designed in such a way that the students were able to master the whole range of knowledge about the development of the agricultural business: they went through the theoretical part, and then consolidated their knowledge in practice. “According to the results of all three streams, we received only positive feedback, which is why we can safely say that the project was successful,” said Lyalya Kudermetova, director of the Tatarstan regional branch.
In general, around 3,000 people have been trained across Russia since the launch of the project in September 2020.
