National All-Russian competition for achievements in the development of organic products
At a meeting of the Council for Agro-Industrial Complex and Environmental Management under the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, chaired by Valentina Matvienko, a decision was made to establish an annual national All-Russian competition of achievements in the development of all-Russian organic products.
The competition is held jointly with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation and the Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization "Russian Quality System". The purpose of the competition is to develop the market for organic products, form habits for a healthy lifestyle, protect the environment and introduce the principles of sustainable development of organic agriculture, encourage best practices in the development of organic production in the Russian Federation and the Eurasian Economic Union.
Participants of the competition can be the subjects of the Russian Federation, certified organic producers, retailers, organizations engaged in online trading, the media, bloggers, youth (citizens of the Russian Federation aged 14 to 35 inclusive).
The competition is open until March 10, 2023. Consideration of applications in the competition commission - from March 10, 2023 to April 11, 2023. The winner is determined by voting. Summing up the results of the competition is carried out until May 30, 2023.
