Tatarstan residents bought 460 thousand eggs at agricultural fairs
On March 16, traditional agricultural fairs began in the republic at 14 sites in the city of Kazan, 2 sites in Naberezhnye Chelny and the Zelenodolsk region, 3 sites in Nizhnekamsk and with varying frequency in municipal areas.
Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov inspected the work of sites in the city of Kazan.
Following the results of 2 fair weeks, agricultural products were sold for a total amount of 141.5 million rubles, 210.8 tons of vegetables, 115.4 tons of potatoes, 36.5 tons of bottled milk, 89.6 tons of sugar , 460 thousand pieces of chicken eggs, 181 tons of meat, including 92.9 tons of beef were sold.
33 municipal districts and 1,548 transport units were involved in holding the fairs.
The fairs are scheduled until April 28, 2024.
