Meetings on beekeeping were held in municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan
From March 15 to March 26, 2024, in the Baltasinsky, Arsky, Zelenodolsky and Tyulyachinsky municipal districts of the republic, meetings on beekeeping were held with the participation of the Heads of municipal districts, their deputies, consultants, heads of agricultural enterprises, heads of district state veterinary associations, heads of veterinary laboratories , representatives of the Branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Rosselkhoztsentr" in the Republic of Tatarstan, the director of NPI "Biopreparaty" LLC, the chairman of the regional organization of beekeepers, agronomists and employees of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The main goal of the meetings is to prevent the death of bees during chemical treatment of agricultural plants.
The beekeeping industry is a dynamically developing area of the republic's agriculture, the priority task of which is to ensure raw materials and food security, achieve stability in rural areas of the republic, because Bees are involved in the pollination of a number of entomophilous crops in crop production, allowing at the same time to increase the yield of forage crops.
One of the conditions for the successful development of beekeeping in the republic is the coordinated joint work of heads of agricultural organizations, agronomists, livestock specialists, beekeepers, local governments, the state veterinary service, and agricultural departments in municipal areas.
The speakers drew attention to the following priority tasks that must be completed to prevent the death of bees:
limiting the use of drugs of hazard class 1 and 2 when processing entomophilous plants, replacing them with drugs of hazard class 3, including biological drugs;
timely notification of beekeepers about the upcoming processing of agricultural plants;
compliance with legal requirements when using pesticides and agrochemicals;
registration of veterinary and sanitary passports for each apiary;
delivery of beekeeping products and pathological material for analysis;
timely treatment of bees with state-registered medicinal products, creation of commissions to conduct inspections of apiaries in case of mass death of bees;
creation of protective strips from the borders of settlements from melliferous plants;
conducting training for beekeepers, agronomists and machine operators on advanced technologies for processing entomophilous plants.
In order to ensure the prevention and safety of bee colonies in the republic, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan M.A. Zyabbarov approved the List of instructions dated March 21, 2024 No. PR-27 “On carrying out measures to prevent bee poisoning by pesticides and agrochemicals, prevention and elimination of bee diseases and their treatment”.
These events this week will be held in Aksubaevsky, Kamsko-Ustyinsky and Aktanyshsky districts. Holding this format of meetings will increase the number of bee colonies in the republic and beekeeping products.
