Today, the Ministry, chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, hosted the last working meeting this year on topical issues of the agro-industrial complex. It was attended by deputy ministers, heads of district agricultural departments, heads of enterprises. During the meeting, issues of financing agricultural enterprises for the next year, issues of providing mineral fertilizers and seeds for the 2023 harvest, issues of animal husbandry and the progress in preparing equipment for spring field work were discussed.

Deputy Minister Marcel Makhmutov spoke about the financing of agricultural enterprises in 2023.

"In 2023, 13.2 billion rubles are provided for state support for the agro-industrial complex, of which:
- with federal participation in 26 events with funding in the amount of 4.6 billion rubles, including from the federal budget - 3.1 billion rubles, from the republican budget - 1.5 billion rubles.
- at the expense of the budget of the republic for 36 events in the amount of 8.6 billion rubles". 

Deputy Minister Dmitry Yashin focused on the tasks for crop production for the coming year.
“It is necessary to maintain the sown area at the level of 2022, especially for potatoes and vegetables. Ensure the accumulation of at least 80 kg ai/ha of mineral fertilizers. Timely carrying out variety change and variety renewal. The share of sowing original and elite seeds should be at least 40%,” he said.

The head of the Department for the Development of Livestock Industries, Siren Nigmatzyanov, spoke about the changes in the provision of subsidies. “This year, milk subsidies were provided as compensatory, and in 2023 milk subsidies will be stimulating. When the agreement on milk production for 2022 is fulfilled, then the rate increases for each % growth. But the rate can increase by no more than 20%.
