From November 9 to 11, the IV Agro-Industrial Forum "Milk of Russia" is being held in Kazan. It is traditionally organized by the Milk Institute. The opening of the forum was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, General Director of the Institute of Milk LLC Tatyana Nagaeva, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Dairy Union of Russia Lyudmila Manitskaya.
The key topic of the Forum was the discussion of a set of measures to support the agro-industrial sector against the backdrop of sanctions, support for farmers and agricultural producers, ensuring the stability of the agro-industrial complex and food security in Russia.
The forum brings together representatives of agricultural enterprises, producers, processors, experts and investors in order to exchange experience regarding the introduction of modern technologies and production management in the agricultural sector.
“Tatarstan fully provides itself with livestock products. We have the largest livestock of cattle in the country. The republic traditionally leads the country in milk production. Today, milk is produced 37% above the consumption rate, meat - by 25%. In general, over the past 6 years, our agricultural organizations and farms have increased milk production by 23%, sales of livestock and poultry for slaughter by 24%, egg production by 37%. Animal husbandry is one of the industries, the development of which receives great support,” said Marat Zyabbarov.
As part of the Forum, a large social industrial complex "Successful Farms" will traditionally be held. During the excursion days, a trip will be organized to 3 leading enterprises of JSC "Elite", LLC "August-Muslyum", JSC "Elite" - "Prodprogramma".
