Marat Zyabbarov visited the Republican Veterinary Laboratory
Today Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov visited the State Budgetary Institution "Republican Veterinary Laboratory". Almaz Khisamutdinov, head of the Main Department of Veterinary Medicine of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan, made a tour of the departments. Deputy Minister Lenar Garipov, Head of the Department of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance in the Republic of Tatarstan Ilnur Galeev also got acquainted with the activities of the laboratory.
In the State Budgetary Institution "Republican Veterinary Laboratory" 10 research departments were shown. Their main goal is to protect health of the population from diseases common to humans and animals; prevention and elimination of contagious and other diseases of animals, including agricultural, domestic, zoo and other animals, birds, fish, bees, and the implementation of regional plans for veterinary services for animal husbandry; protection of the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan from the animal diseases from outside the Republic of Tatarstan.
Also, the Republican Veterinary Laboratory of the Republic of Tatarstan is accredited in the national accreditation system, licenses for activities related to pathogens of II-IV pathogenicity groups.
Then the visitors were shown the Museum of the Veterinary Service of the Republic of Tatarstan. Its founder is Minnebay Nigmatullin, who worked as the chief veterinary inspector of the republic for 21 years from 1970 to 1991. The stands of the museum show all the stages of the development of veterinary medicine, the tools that were used in the work. The names of honored veterinarians of the Republic of Tatarstan are immortalized.
