Today, a meeting held with municipal districts was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov. The event was also attended by deputy ministers, heads of districts and heads of agricultural departments.
Deputy Minister Dmitry Yashin was the first to speak. The main topics of his report were: the state of winter crops, the forecast for sowing winter crops for the harvest of 2023, the liming of acidic soils, as well as registration in the FSIS "Zerno". Winter crops are in the phase of milk and wax ripeness of grain and this week some farms selectively started harvesting winter crops. For winter sowing, it is planned to use 325 thousand hectares of fallow areas, 124 thousand hectares of annual grasses, 51 thousand hectares of peas, and plowing of old-growth perennial grasses. In the current year, liming of acidic soils is proceeding at an unsatisfactory pace, today only 12.5 thousand hectares have been limed, which is only 15% of the planned volume (85 thousand hectares). As for the FSIS "Zerno", today 49% of enterprises in the Republic of Tatarstan are registered in the system.
Deputy Minister Lenar Garipov spoke about the results of the livestock industry for the first half of 2022. For 6 months, 741 thousand tons of milk were produced, with an increase of 3% compared to last year. 207 thousand tons of meat were produced in the republic, of which 48 thousand are cattle meat, 49 thousand - pork and 109 thousand - poultry meat. Forage harvesting continues in the fields. To date, 468 thousand tons of hay and 2 million 134 thousand tons of haylage have been harvested. 17 municipal districts of the republic have started harvesting the 2nd mowing of perennial grasses. To date, 5% of the plan or 18,000 hectares have been harvested.
Deputy Minister Rafael Fattakhov summed up the preliminary results of work in the My Subsidies information system. The Ministry announced 4 selections for receiving applications for the technical and technological modernization of agricultural production. This year, 2,800 applications for 11,000 pieces of equipment were submitted for consideration. According to the completed selections, 628 applications (33%) were approved, due to poor-quality preparation of documents and inattentive execution, 67% of applications were rejected. The Deputy Minister noted that it is important to comply with all requirements during registration. The next selections will also be held using the My Subsidies service.
