22 June 2022, Wednesday

Hereditary horse breeder Duguidaan Vinokurov with four horses of the Yakut breed left Oymyakon on March 1, 2021. Today, on the border of the Republic of Tatarstan near the village of Uba, he was solemnly greeted by representatives of the Bavlinsky municipal district and Airat Khabibullin, the leading adviser of the livestock sector development department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The goal of the project is to demonstrate to the world community the unique physiological capabilities of the Yakut horse and, relying on the attractiveness of the project, to bring information about the 100th anniversary of the republic to a large number of people, as well as to contribute to the development of equestrian tourism.

Today, Yakutia is considered the region with the largest number of horses - 170 thousand heads. People began to engage more in herd horse breeding. The leadership of the republic puts a plan to increase the number of horses to 200 thousand heads by 2030.

Duguidan devoted his extreme campaign to the 100th anniversary of the autonomy of the Republic of Sakha-Yakutia. The finish is scheduled for July 30, 2022 in the capital of Russia, where celebrations dedicated to the anniversary and the Yakut national holiday Ysyakh will take place.

At the moment, Duguidan has traveled more than 9,000 km on his horses. The most difficult, he believes, is behind.

The traveler will stay in Kazan from June 28 to July 02.
