Today, the ministry held a meeting with municipal districts, where they discussed current issues of the agricultural sector. It was chaired by First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Nail Zalakov, deputy ministers Lenar Garipov, Rishat Khabipov, Rafael Fattakhov, Marcel Makhmutov and heads of departments.

Nail Zalakov reported on the main issues of crop production. The sown area this year amounted to 2.8 million hectares, which is 70 thousand hectares more than the planned volumes, the sown areas of oilseeds increased by 23 thousand hectares, barley - by 12 thousand hectares. The Ministry was faced with the task of accumulating mineral fertilizers of at least 70 kg of a.i. per hectare and it was completed.

Lenar Garipov reported on the results in the livestock sector for 5 months of this year. To date, more than 611 thousand tons of milk have been produced, with an increase of 2% compared to last year, an increase in milk volumes is observed in 19 districts.

“Today, we are faced with the challenge of harvesting feed while minimizing nutrient loss. Particularly timely and correct harvesting will largely serve as a determining factor for the future production. This year we have to harvest more than 3 million tons of haylage, 3.7 million tons of silage and 350,000 tons of hay. Only 40 tons per 1 head of livestock,” the Deputy Minister noted.

Rafael Fattakhov spoke about the organization of the repair of forage harvesting and grain harvesting equipment, the ongoing work on the supply of spare parts.

“There are 3,350 grain harvesters in the park of agricultural producers of the republic, 977 or 30% of them are imported. Readiness of harvesters for June 10 is 56%. Also, 63% of spare parts were purchased for the restoration of the harvesting complex by farms of the republic. Repair of grain harvesting equipment should be completed on July 1,” he stressed.

Rishat Khabipov reported on the results of grant support for small businesses. According to him, activity of the regions is very polar. The most active are Kukmorsky, Aznakaevsky, Sarmanovsky, Muslyumovsky, Rybno-Slobodsky districts, where 5-7 farmers and cooperatives received grants for the development of their farms. At the same time, there is not a single winner in Aktanyshsky, Bugulminsky, Laishevsky, Pestrechinsky, Cheremshansky, Yutazinsky districts. The main reason for denial of support is poorly prepared documents.

Director General of RIVC JSC Niyaz Khaliullin informed about the digital programs that are used in the field of crop production and animal husbandry and called on the agrarians to actively use them.
