Tatarstan has been selected as a pilot region for preparing proposals for improving regulation in the development of the Halal industry
Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov arrived in St. Petersburg. He takes part in the events of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
As part of the forum today, the minister met with the head of the Federal Accreditation Service, Nazariy Skrypnik. The parties signed a cooperation agreement. It is aimed at effective and mutually beneficial cooperation in joint projects, formation and promotion of the interests of consumers and manufacturers within implementation of state programs and tasks for the development of Halal products and services; providing assistance, improving regulation in the development of the Halal industry, information exchange and expert interaction.
To date, the Republic of Tatarstan has been selected by the Federal Accreditation Service as a pilot region for preparing proposals for improving regulation in the development of the Halal industry.
