To date, sowing work in Tatarstan has been completed by 91%. This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov at a briefing in the House of Government of the Republic.
The speaker noted that sowing of grain crops was completed by 94%, sugar beet - by 97%, corn - 76%, sunflower - 92%, and rapeseed and potatoes with vegetables- 83% and 67%, respectively. The total of sown areas at the moment is 1.7 million hectares.
“Atninsky, Aktanyshsky, Leninogorsky and Zainsky districts have completed the sowing campaign. Seven more municipal districts are almost at the finish line,” M. Zyabbarov emphasized.
He added that nine municipal districts of Tatarstan have sown less than 85% of the planned areas. At the same time, only in four districts (Pestrechinsky, Sabinsky, Verkhne-Uslonsky and Agryzsky) thus situation is related to the geographical location. Despite this, the minister said that all sowing work will be completed by June 5.
In 2022, the state will allocate over 13.3 billion rubles to support the agro-industrial complex of Tatarstan, of which 3.8 billion are from the federal budget and 9.5 billion rubles are from the budget of the republic. The minister noted that 42% of the funds - 5.6 billion rubles - have been disbursed to date. Of these, 2.9 billion came from the federal budget and 2.7 billion from the budget of the republic.
M. Zyabbarov added that the most significant support measures are subsidies for the purchase of mineral fertilizers, technical and technological modernization, and livestock support.
According to the minister, 1.3 thousand units of agricultural machinery and equipment have already been purchased in Tatarstan. “As of May 28 this year, 1,361 units of agricultural machinery and equipment have already been purchased for more than 4.2 billion rubles. These are 170 tractors, 56 grain and 14 forage harvesters, 12 self-propelled sprayers and over 1.1 thousand other equipment,” he said.
The head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food informed that in order to curb the aging of the machine and tractor fleet, the republic's agricultural enterprises need to purchase at least 400 tractors, 150 grain harvesters and 50 forage harvesters annually.
The speaker also noted that in Tatarstan, the purchased equipment is subsidized under the 70x30 scheme, that is, 70% is paid by the manufacturer, and 30% - by the state. Zyabbarov said that this year 1.8 billion rubles were allocated from the budget of the republic for these purposes, 635 million of which have already been brought to farms.
Marat Zabbarov noted that industrial enterprises of Tatarstan are mastering the production of parts for the imported agricultural machinery. Thanks to this, offers appear on the market, and prices are 2-3 times lower than those of foreign analogues. Industrial enterprises have already mastered over 2 thousand items of various parts and components.
