24 May 2022, Tuesday

Today, in the Muslyumovsky district, the Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, Farid Mukhametshin, held a regional meeting on the issues of increasing the business activity of the villagers. The seminar participants were the heads of districts and rural settlements, heads of farms and family farms, representatives of agricultural cooperatives from 14 districts included in the Eastern zone of the republic.

This is already the third such seminar on support of household plots planned for May this year, the first two were held in Buinsky and Kukmorsky districts. In the near future, a meeting with farmers will also be held in the Cheremshansky district. In general, zonal seminars-meetings to increase the business activity of the villagers in the republic have become traditional and have been held since 2010.

Arriving in the Muslyumovsky municipal district, Farid Mukhametshin, accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, the head of the district Albert Khuzin, deputies of the State Council, examined the exhibition of products of enterprises and organizations of the Muslyumovsky district, farms and agricultural cooperatives, deployed in the lobby of the district Houses of culture.

The “visiting card” of the Muslyumovsky district is poultry farming. If last year there were 30 poultry sites in the district, then this year there are 35. In recent years, the volume of investments in this industry has amounted to about 1 billion rubles. As Albert Huzin noted, the farmers of the region widely use new technologies in production. Muslyumovsky district occupies the 6th place in the republic in the production of poultry meat, and among the farms - the first.

Of course, the issues of import substitution for hatching eggs are coming to the fore for poultry farmers today. Thus, the Muslyumovsky cooperative "Agroleader", engaged in breeding geese, supports the breeding stock, produces its own hatching eggs. Every year the cooperative releases more than 120 thousand goslings. In the district, private farms grow from 100 to 2000 heads of geese.

The results of the work of farms in the Eastern zone were discussed in detail during the plenary session.

In his opening speech, Chairman of the State Council Farid Mukhametshin recalled the tasks set by the President of Tatarstan to increase the business and social activity of the villagers. “In the context of new challenges for the country, the issues of ensuring food security are of particular relevance,” he stressed. “Providing essential goods, maintaining employment, the smooth functioning of backbone organizations and helping businesses to adapt to new conditions are priority goals.”

In general, according to Farid Mukhametshin, the agro-industrial complex of the republic completed last year with good results, even under adverse environmental conditions. This year, winter crops have been sown on an area of almost 480,000 hectares for the current year's harvest. More than 1,265.5 thousand hectares (69%) have already been sown with spring crops.

As the head of the parliament noted, great importance is attached to the development of private farmsteads and farms in the republic. “Today, there is more than 470,000 households, more than 4,000 farms and more than 300 agricultural consumer cooperatives,” said Farid Mukhametshin. - Every year, more than 2 billion rubles are allocated to support them in form of grants and subsidies. One and a half billion rubles were allocated to finance the state program "Integrated Development of Rural Territories". This will make it possible to build 5 thousand square meters of housing, 84 facilities in 34 districts of the Republic of Tatarstan, to overhaul networks, buildings and structures. We expect an increase in the number of cows by 1840 heads, fattening cattle - by 1626 heads, horses - by 840 heads, birds - by 540 thousand heads.

According to Farid Mukhametshin, there are reserves for improving the efficiency of farms in the regions. The Chairman of the State Council named the remaining unused agricultural objects and “ownerless” lands as one of such reserves. “The department of the Rosselkhoznadzor in the republic monitored more than 4.6 million hectares of agricultural land,” the head of parliament said. - With the help of modern digital technologies, 113 thousand hectares of abandoned arable land have been identified. It is necessary to increase attention to the solution of this issue and use abandoned lands.”

Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov made a report on the state of the agricultural sector of the republic and the tasks of increasing the business activity of the villagers. After analyzing the results of the work of the districts of the eastern zone in 2021, he called on the heads of rural settlements to draw all their efforts to improve the efficiency of using state support measures, and farmers to actively use the opportunities provided.

The meeting ended with the awarding ceremony of the winners of the annual republican competition in the nominations "Best rural settlement", "Best personal subsidiary plot", "Best family farm", "Best chairman of an agricultural cooperative".
