Today, at the Kazan State Academy of Veterinary Medicine named after N.E. Bauman, a meeting was held on a program of joint actions for the development of science in the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Nail Zalakov, Director of the Directorate for the Development of Agro- and Biotechnologies of the Innopraktika company Vladimir Avdeenko and others.
During the meeting, specialized higher educational institutions of Kazan made reports on scientific projects and educational programs that they are implementing. The directions with special emphasis were announced.
“Tatarstan is number one in milk production in Russia. Therefore, the priorities in agricultural science should include selection in animal husbandry and crop production. In addition, you need to pay attention to the fish farming. A closed-cycle economy operates in this sector, ”said Nail Zalakov.
“We also pay attention to the development of agricultural education. There is interest in it and prospects not only for agricultural enterprises, but also for universities. I am talking not only about educational, but also about scientific work! Of course, we are open to discussing any areas of development, ”concluded Vladimir Avdeenko.
