Delegation from Turkey arrived in Tatarstan

At the site of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, a meeting was held with a delegation from Turkey. Tatarstan was represented at the event by Nail Zalakov, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, investors, representatives of banks, heads of the largest agricultural holdings in Tatarstan. The founder of "Taban Gıda" Aras Demir, board member of "Doruk Un" company Ramazan Dursun, chairman of the board of "Alsan" company Numan Albayrak and others arrived from the Turkish Republic.

Following a series of meetings of the Plenipotentiary Representation of the Republic of Tatarstan in Istanbul with the leadership of Taban Gıda and the initial presentation of the investment potential, the delegation decided to visit the republic on December 12-16.

Taban Gıda is a group of foreign trade companies, founded in 2016, and specializing in the sale of agricultural products from Russia and the CIS countries to Turkey and third countries. In 2020, the volume of wheat supplies from Russia and the countries of the region amounted to more than 2 million tons.

During the meeting, the Turkish side put forward its proposals for cooperation, namely in the construction of a flour mill in the Republic of Tatarstan.

At the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to cooperate in joint investment projects.
