The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan discussed the opportunities of improving logistics

Today, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted a meeting on improving logistics in the republic. The event was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Nail Zalakov, the head of investment projects of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Gainullov, representatives of the Office of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, heads of agricultural enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan and others. From the side of St. Petersburg were present the commercial director of LLC "Modul" Vladimir Gai, as well as specialists of the sales department Alexandra Sokolova and Andrei Demchenko.

LLC "Modul" is the largest freight forwarding company in Russia, which has been successfully providing transportation and escort services all over the world for almost 30 years. This company plans to develop its activities on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan in relation to the following projects:

- provision of export and import transport and forwarding services for leading enterprises in the region;

- organization of a terminal and logistics complex on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan near the village of Sviyazhsk.

The Deputy Minister expressed the readiness of our region to cooperate and develop logistics in the agricultural sector.

“Logistics is the main element of export in the agro-industrial complex, and the possibilities for expanding exports remain relevant for the republic,” Nail Zalakov said.
