The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan held a meeting on the results of the agricultural microcensus

Today, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted a meeting with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov. The event was also attended by Deputy Head of the Federal State Statistics Service Dmitry Kenchadze, President of the Association of Farmers, Peasant Farms and Agricultural Consumer Cooperatives of the Republic of Tatarstan Kamiyar Baytemirov, Head of TatarstanStat Natalya Gataullina, Head of the Department of Agriculture and Environmental Statistics of Rosstat Natalya Shashlova. The meeting was attended by heads of departments, representatives of the Central Office of Rosstat, employees of territorial bodies of Rosstat from all constituent entities of the Russian Federation, representatives of ministries and departments of Tatarstan.

“We can say with confidence that the microcensus was successful. This is definitely a qualitative assessment of the country's agricultural sector, ”Dmitry Kenchadze emphasized.

Agricultural microcensus in Tatarstan was subject to:

• 598 agricultural organizations,

• 2585 peasant (farmer) households and individual entrepreneurs,

• 1383 horticultural, vegetable gardening and other non-profit partnerships of citizens,

• more than 420 thousand personal subsidiary plots.

“The results of the agricultural microcensus will make it possible to track the processes associated with the mobility of the rural population. The information will allow developing perspective territorial schemes for the development of agriculture and related industries, which is absolutely necessary for the effective management of the agro-industrial complex of the republic, ”said Marat Zyabbarov.

In turn, Natalya Gataullina reported that the results of the agricultural microcensus-2021 will show the structural changes that have taken place in agriculture and will allow government authorities to more accurately predict economic impact measures in order to increase the efficiency of the country's agro-industrial complex. As for the agrarian sector of the Republic of Tatarstan, innovative technologies are widely used here, progressive digital solutions are being introduced. There is also a high level of self-sufficiency in agricultural products, which is an important indicator for the region.

In addition, at the meeting it was emphasized that unusual forms of activity in agriculture are well developing in Tatarstan. Such as, for example, growing walnuts or breeding ostriches.

The preliminary results of the agricultural microcensus in 2021 compared to previous censuses in the farms of rural citizens showed an increase in the number of census objects and the total area of ​​land plots.
