The final seminar of the Volga Federal District Grain and Soybean Union will be held in Samara
The final seminar of the Volga Federal District Grain and Soybean Union will be held in Samara on December 12 at a major agricultural machinery manufacturer, AM-Technika JSC, one of the key centers of Russian agricultural machinery manufacturing.
Seminar participants will enjoy tours of two of the plant's production facilities. They will see how the machinery essential to modern grain and oilseed cultivation is created. This includes 30 types of machinery for grain and oilseed cultivation (equipment for tillage, seeding, application of plant protection products, and solid and liquid fertilizers).
The business program includes a presentation of the results of the "Volga Region Agropolygons" project: the season's results, the technologies and solutions that performed best in the Samara, Saratov, and Penza regions, the emerging trends in the regions, and the announcement of the project winners.
The seminar will also feature a season review by Dmitry Sviridov, the Union's chief agronomist and expert. He will provide an honest analysis of what Volga region farmers have accomplished, what opportunities were missed, and what new growth opportunities are already opening up.
