The #GivingTuesday charity event will be held in Tatarstan
#GivingTuesday is a global day of charity. Its main goal is to attract public attention and engage more people in charitable activities.
#GivingTuesday is an open platform for collaboration between NGOs, businesses, media, and local communities.
The "Giving Tuesday" charity event has been held in Russia since 2016 with the support of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development. Since then, nearly 4,600 organizations from 260 cities and towns across the country have joined the initiative.
In 2025, #GivingTuesday will be held on December 2. Events within the initiative will be held from November 26 to December 8, 2025.
All non-political organizations and individuals are invited to participate in this initiative. Corporations choose this day to highlight their social projects and encourage employee volunteerism. Non-profit organizations use this opportunity to raise funds, expand their donor base, and attract new volunteers.
The "Culture of Philanthropy" Charitable Foundation is the project's coordinator in Russia.
