Dairy complex "August-Agro" became winner of the award "Agroinvestor of the year -2021" in the nomination "Launch of the year"
The management company "August-Agro" won the first place in the nomination "Launch of the Year" of the national award "Agroinvestor of the Year – 2021".
The project of the robotic dairy complex "Urazmetevo" was submitted to the competition. The expert jury within the framework of this competitive nomination considered enterprises that completed construction or modernization in 2020-2021 and launched a fundamentally new production, service or finished product.
"The victory and high assessment of the expert council are certainly very significant for the company. The Urazmetevo dairy complex is our first project in milk production, started from scratch, and we are still "beginners" in professional animal husbandry. However, at the same time, we decided on a project that had no analogues, for example, in terms of cross-ventilation in cowsheds, in terms of the number of robotic milking units for 1,200 cows. We had a lot of doubts whether everything would work out. In addition, the complex was launched in a difficult 2020, the situation was complicated by the first lockdown and high uncertainty, including the supply of some of the necessary equipment and breeding cattle from abroad. So the "gold" of victory is the result of hard work of many specialists. This is the only way to achieve success," Aidar Galyautdinov, General Director of the August-Agro Management Company, commented on the results of the award.
The national award "Agroinvestor of the Year - 2021" was awarded in 12 nominations, within which the Expert Council of the award and the editorial board of the Agroinvestor media project evaluated the best practices, projects and achievements of the leaders of agro-industrial complex.
