Today, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Rishat Khabipov took part in the grand opening of the "School of Farmers" in KGAU. The event was also attended by Chairman of the Association of Farmers and Peasant Farms of the Republic of Tatarstan Kamiyar Baytemirov, Rector of Kazan State Agrarian University Airat Valiev and others.

"Thank you for expressing a desire to gain knowledge at the Farmer's School. Applications for participation were received from all municipal districts. Here in the walls of the agrarian University you will get all the necessary knowledge. We have successful farmers who are already in the third generation running their business. You have the opportunity to adopt this best practice. I would like to note that agriculture is the most important branch of our country's economy, which provides food to the population. By dedicating yourself to this industry, you become closer to the earth, to animals, to nature, to the rural way of life," said Rishat Khabipov.

Alexander Pavlov, a graduate of the first stream of the Farmer's School, the head of his own farm, also shared his thoughts with the participants.

"Some of you are already experienced farmers, some are just starting out, but training at the Farmers' School will be useful to everyone. The knowledge I gained here gave me confidence in the future. After the Farmer's School, I managed to get the support of the Rosselkhoznadzor and state support," he said.

Last year, the first stream of the "Farmer's School" was launched. During this time, more than 2,000 people across the country have become participants of the school. To date, the 4th stream has already started. Future entrepreneurs will have to study for 3 months.
