Today, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan held a press conference dedicated to the national competition of regional brands "Tastes of Russia". It was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Nail Zalakov, as well as representatives of Tatarstan brands that participate in the nomination "People's Choice".

This is the brand "Chuck-chuck Kazan", the head of the Bakery No. 1 company -Ramil Galeev;

- Honey "Tatar baly", founder of the cooperative -Yazil Mullahaziev;

- Brand "Tatar tea", Director of sales and development of LLC "Factory of healthy products" - Nikolay Dynkov.

"The Tastes of Russia contest was held last year for the first time. It confirmed its relevance. It is designed to draw attention to the achievements of small and medium-sized businesses in the agro-industrial complex and help create new growth points for rural areas. For manufacturers, this is an opportunity to gain fame and, of course, this is a huge impetus for development. The peculiarity of the competition is that all products must be tied to a certain area, must have a certain history, so each name has a certain binding to the place of production. This contributes to the popularization of our region. It is very important that our products are recognizable throughout the country. Therefore, we will highlight such a goal of the competition – to popularize what we eat," Nail Zalakov said.

Within the framework of the press conference, representatives of Tatarstan brands told each about their own.

"Chak-chak is the best treat for guests. Of course, the consumer should receive a sweetness saturated with a wonderful taste and aroma, and not something similar to a cookie. Therefore, our brand is aimed at development and promotion," said Ramil Galeev.

"Tatar Baly is in first place in honey production in Russia. We do not stop there - we plan to launch production using new capacities, where honey will be processed. We will do this in cooperation with beekeepers of the Republic of Tatarstan," Yazil Mullahaziev said.

"We have a large assortment of tea: from simple filter bags to premium teas. We have about 130 recipes for this drink. At the same time, our tea is certified "Halal". This means that we have clean production, transparent business and the same attitude to people," Nikolai Dynkov said.

From October 20 to November 7, a vote is taking place within the framework of the second National competition of regional food brands "Tastes of Russia". Every citizen of our country can cast their vote on the official website of the contest by supporting three favorite products. The three winners in this nomination will be determined by receiving a majority vote.
