Rustam Minnikhanov: "The quality of agricultural products should be under control"
Last Saturday, traditional agricultural fairs began their work at 15 sites in Kazan. The most long-awaited was the fair on the territory of the Chekhovsky market.
Kazan residents and guests of the capital massively purchased meat, dairy, and vegetable products at affordable prices. The Fair of Farm products within the framework of the Tugan Yak project is located on the same site. Natural products from Arsky, Baltasinsky, Kukmor and Sabinsky districts were presented at it. The winner received a basket of farm products for free.
In connection with the fairs that have begun, the President of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, at a meeting in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan, instructed to monitor the prices of vegetables at the autumn agricultural fairs that have started in the republic.
He noted that vegetables and potatoes will be delivered to the fairs, despite the fact that due to the dry summer, farmers of Tatarstan have certain problems.
"Agricultural enterprises that have land reclamation systems are ready to provide this work. Keep an eye on prices and, most importantly, on the quality of products, " the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan addressed the participants of the meeting.
