The All-Russian forum "Kaitam" has started in Tatarstan

The All-Russian Kaitam Forum has started in Tatarstan on the basis of the Zvezdny Training and Wellness Center in the Laishevsky district. The event is attended by 150 students of the agricultural direction, 70 of them represent 35 regions of Russia, 80 people – the Republic of Tatarstan. In addition, 600 participants are connected online through the "Power of the Village" application.

The opening was held in the format of a round table on the topic "Kaitam: from diploma to salary". The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, Minister of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan Timur Suleymanov, Rector of Kazan State Agrarian University Airat Valiev, Director of the Department of Rural Development of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Ksenia Shevelkina joined online.

The issues of employment, wages and opportunities for young farmers were discussed at the meeting.

"Now the industry needs ready-made, experienced specialists. The Kaitam project is an opportunity to give novice farmers experience, learn about their needs and tell them about the prospects. We provide a one-time cash allowance for young agricultural specialists when they graduate from universities or colleges. We also understand that in addition to work, the housing issue is also important for a young farmer. Therefore, we also have programs to improve housing conditions in the Republic, " Marat Zyabbarov said.

"The Kaitam Forum is one of the examples of the project office of the same name, within the framework of which a series of interviews with successful young compatriots was also published before. Our task is to create opportunities together with youth, to program what the environment should be like today, " the Minister of Youth Affairs of Tatarstan stressed.

As a result of the forum, a collection of methodological materials on the adaptation of young specialists to activities in rural areas will be published. It can be used by any enterprise, business organization and educational institution in the field of agriculture to strengthen its effectiveness.
