Horse Day-2021: A traditional holiday was held in Arsky district
The event was organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Federation of Horse Breeding and Equestrian Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan, the ICSC "Kazan", the State Institution "Main State Agricultural Management of Breeding in Animal Husbandry of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan".
The Day of Horse brought together horses and their riders from different regions of the republic. In addition to horse racing, horse breeders could show their skills and abilities in competitions for the best cart, for the fastest carrier, a master class on horse shoeing was organized. Performances of students of the Kazan equestrian sports children's and youth school, performances of cynologists of the Veterinary Academy were shown.
Lenar Garipov congratulated guests on the holiday.
"Today in Tatarstan is a holiday of noble animals-horses. Today we also congratulate everyone who deals with them - owners, jockeys, and just lovers of these graceful animals. I join these congratulations, and I want to wish the equestrians and their pets good health, victories and strength for new achievements!", - he said.
Depending on the breed of horses and the age of the riders, the races were held in several categories. Purebred and mongrel horses, Tatar horses and others competed separately.
The winner of the race for horses of the Tatar breed was a horse named Bars RT and its rider Ferzar Giniyatullin from the Tyulyachinsky district.
The winner of the races for horses of the local breed is a horse named Nochka with rider Ruslan Kapitonov from the agrofirm "Igenche".
The winner of the half-blood horse race is Zodiac horse with its jockey Alexander Alexandrov from the Pestrechinsky district.
The winner of the race for thoroughbred horses is Rashen Glim and his rider Azat Sasykulov, LLC " SHP "Yarysh", Tukayevsky district.
"A horse is a hard worker, a friend, a fighter, a colleague. We can admire the horses at the races, at SabanTuy, but we really wanted to take the horse festival to another level, and that's when we came up with Horse Day. Of course, many thanks to the Arsky district for organizing the event! Next year, we plan to hold seminars for grooms, so that it will be not only competitions, but also master classes," Vasil Shaikhraziyev summed up.
