Lenar Garipov: The priority goal of the livestock industry workers is to ensure the stabilization and restoration of the cattle population by the end of 2021
This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan during the zonal seminar-meeting "High – quality feed and a strong feed base are the key to high productivity of animals", which was held in the Alekseevsky district. The event was attended by Gelyus Bayazitov, Deputy Head of the Department of Breeding in Animal Husbandry of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, Almaz Khisamutdinov, Head of the Main Veterinary Department of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan, Sergey Demidov, head of the district, as well as heads of the district departments of agriculture and food, farmers and others.
At the seminar, the participants discussed the issues of milk production, dairy farming culture, modern technology for the preparation of high-quality feed, the impact of high-quality feed on the productivity of animals and the development of the sheep and pig industries, as well as personnel issues.
"We need to move clearly in the direction of high-quality training of personnel. Go to the students, tell them about working conditions that you can offer them. This should be done today, " the Deputy minister said. Then he introduced the analysis of the development of livestock industries in the republic for the first quarter of this year.
"This year, subsidies in the amount of 314 million 562 thousand rubles were allocated to stimulate agricultural producers to increase the number of cows. State support was received by 90 farms from 25 districts at the rate of 51 thousand rubles per 1 cow growth. In addition, those farms that have increased their livestock due to the purchase receive state support for the reimbursement of 40% of the purchase price, but not more than 50 thousand per head. Almost 100% of the purchased livestock has been reimbursed to these farms due to the incentive subsidy," Lenar Garipov said.
During his speech, he also noted that one of the priority goals of employees of the livestock industry is to ensure the stabilization and restoration of the cattle population by the end of 2021.
The practical part of the seminar was held on the basis of the livestock complex "Levashovo" of JSC "Krasny Vostok Agro". The participants of the seminar visited the milking parlor and estimated the machines which help with the veterinary maintenance of the herd. Animal breeders of the farm conducted demonstration veterinary and sanitary measures: hoof treatment and manipulations for the prevention of mastitis.
"On the example of this farm, you can draw conclusions and use the approaches used here in your work," said Lenar Garipov.
