The authorities of Tatarstan and the Tyumen region exchanged experience on increasing business activity in the countryside
Today, with the participation of the deputies of the State Council of Tatarstan and the Tyumen Regional Duma, a video communication was held to discuss the development of business activity of the rural population, including small forms of business and legislative regulation of this area. Deputy Chairman of the State Council Marat Akhmetov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Rishat Khabipov, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Ecology, Nature Management, Agroindustrial and Food Policy Takhir Khadeev and others took part in the meeting.
Marat Akhmetov noted the importance of preserving the rural way of life and stressed that the agricultural sector of the republic is advanced in the country. In terms of gross agricultural production (263.4 billion rubles), Tatarstan ranks 4th in Russia, 6th place in terms of sugar beet harves and in terms of milk production - 1st place, so, by the end of 2020, about 2 million tons of milk were produced in the republic.
More than 5 thousand agricultural formations function in the republic, including 4 thousand peasant farms, as well as more than 450 thousand personal subsidiary plots. Farmers of the republic produce more than 50% of the gross agricultural output.
“We have developed an integral system of support for peasant farms, private households, formed a legislative base. Serious work is underway to improve the living conditions of villagers, the territories are being improved, including by the residents themselves through the institution of self-taxation, ”Marat Akhmetov said about the implementation of 50 republican presidential programs in Tatarstan, aimed at the infrastructural development of rural areas.
On behalf of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin is working to increase the business activity of the rural population, annually summing up the results of small businesses, solving issues.
The Deputy Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan noted that in the Tyumen region great attention is paid to the development of agriculture, the introduction of innovative projects. Considerable funds are invested in the development of this direction.
During the discussion, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Rishat Khabipov spoke about the grant support for small businesses. He highly estimated the experience of Tyumen colleagues in the creation and implementation of credit cooperatives in agriculture.
Deputy Chairman of the Tyumen Regional Duma Viktor Rein noted that the experience of Tatarstan is interesting in many sectors. According to him, food security is the way to preserve the rural way of life. The level of state support should be higher, which will improve the competitiveness of domestic products, stressed Victor Rein.
In conclusion, Marat Akhmetov expressed the hope that the parliamentarians of both subjects will interact more actively at the level of specialized committees for a more detailed study of joint decisions.
