Tatarstan is studying the best practices of implementation of lean manufacturing at the enterprises of the Nizhny Novgorod region

The delegation of Tatarstan, headed by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Rafael Fattakhov, paid a working visit to Pavlovskaya Poultry Farm LLC and Ilyino-Zaborskoye agricultural enterprise of the Nizhny Novgorod region. During the visit, a meeting was held with the leadership of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

Lean Manufacturing is a manufacturing enterprise management concept that is based on the enterprise's constant striving to eliminate all types of waste.

Initially, Lean Manufacturing was implemented in the state corporation "Rosatom". Together with regional nuclear specialists, 6 innovative consulting centers (ICCs) were opened to replicate lean practices and provide services to agricultural enterprises in Nizhny Novgorod and other cities.

The centers for agribusiness enterprises provide consulting and training on the introduction of innovations, the dissemination of new crops and modern activities in the agricultural sector. There they provide support in the development and maintenance of investment projects, assistance in organizing commodity exchanges, auctions and exhibitions of agricultural products, provision of consulting services and personnel training in various areas, replication of practices for the implementation of lean production technologies in the agricultural sector (within the national project “Labor productivity and support employment ").

Competence centers for increasing labor productivity in agriculture have been established on the basis of the ICC, the project support and creation of samples of effective production are carried out there.

The delegations from Tatarstan said that a project to optimize the preparation and distribution of feed was opened at the Ilyino-Zaborskoye livestock farm in the Semyonovsky District. The farm introduced a checklist of the feed quality, systematized the distribution of feed mixture by cycles, made a new schedule for feeding animals, which made it possible to control the compound feed formulation and the consumption of feed additives.

The productivity of cows has increased to 30 kg per day per cow. The agricultural enterprise Ilyino-Zaborskoye today is 1,800 head of cattle, each cow gives 11,166 liters of milk per year. In the future, they plan to improve the feed preparation process with the help of lean technologies.

Pavlovskaya Poultry Farm LLC has implemented lean production in all areas: personnel, accounting, production areas, logistics.
