Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan opened the season of agricultural fairs
Today in Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk and Zelenodolsk region, this year's first fairs of agricultural products, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, were opened. Agricultural producers mainly brought food and goods from Novosheshminsky, Spassky, Nurlatsky, Sabinsky, Aksubaevsky, Alkeevsky, Atninsky, Mamadyshsky, Drozhzhanovsky, Pestrechinsky and Tetyushsky regions of the republic. We arrived at the sites and, loved not only by the villagers, but also by the townspeople, the auto shops.
In total, this Saturday, 35 tons of potatoes, 71 tons of vegetables, meat - 34 tons, draft milk - 19 tons, sugar - 48 tons, flour - 35 tons, 120 thousand eggs and 170 tons of grain were brought to agricultural fairs from the regions of the republic.
It is planned to increase the volume of vegetable products as soon as the temperature allows. And closer to the summer season, seedlings will appear at fairs.
The fairs were visited by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, deputy ministers, heads of municipal districts, heads of agro-industrial complex units and specialists of the ministry. They got acquainted with the range of products presented and their prices. In addition, all products have been tested by veterinary services.
Organisation of fairs requires a lot of work. The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan treats them with great responsibility and the work on organizing such socially significant events will continue.
