The agricultural consumer cooperative "Umyrzaya" became the guarantor of meat sales for a number of farms in the Sabinsky district.
- For us, the sale of raised livestock was becoming a serious problem, - says the shareholder of the cooperative, the head of the farm "Mukhametshin Z.Z." Zufar Mukhametshin. - With the creation of the Umyrzaya, the headache of where to sell the cattle is gone. We send livestock to the cooperative not only on schedule, but also on call, and at any time of the day. And the cooperative always offers higher prices for our livestock than visiting dealers.
And here is what Ilyas Davletzyanov, director of the Nyrty agricultural enterprise LLC, says:
- We try to bring the final weight of bulls up to 400-500 kg, we sell it mainly in the highest fat condition. The best delicacies can be made from such meat. Therefore, our cooperative buys livestock willingly at good prices. And it always pays on time. This is very important for strengthening business relationships.
Thе cooperative was created in 2009 and until 2017 was engaged in the procurement of meat from the population with subsequent sale through its store. In 2017, thanks to the program "Development of agricultural consumer cooperation in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2015-2017" and the won grant of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan a slaughterhouse was built with a capacity of 24 heads per day. And here are the results. In 2018, the cooperative sold 526 tons of meat, in 2019 - 1219 tons, in 8 months of this year - 1066 tons. The main sales markets are the Moscow region, the cities of Kazan, Izhevsk and Agryz.
“Things are going well, we have provided jobs for 22 people, our average monthly salary is 25 thousand rubles,” says Ramil Garipov, chairman of the Umyrzaya cooperative.
The cooperative plans to create a production facility with deep processing of meat. So that the final products are not quarters of animal carcasses, but semi-finished meat products, dumplings, sausages. This will make it possible both to increase the profitability of production and to increase prices for the livestock from shareholders. The first step has been taken - a small workshop for meat embankment, that is, detaching meat from bones, was built at their own expense.
This is how, thanks to the initiative and entrepreneurship of rural businessmen and the support of the state, competitive industries are created in the countryside, new jobs appear, and people have faith in the future.
