The grant of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan under the federal program "Agrostartup" within the framework of the National Project "Small and Medium Enterprises and Support of Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives" allowed a novice beekeeper from Arsk region to quickly increase the material base of the sweet business.
Aydar Islamov, a native of the village of Kazanbash, has no beekeepers in his family. His father was a firefighter, his mother worked at Rosgosstrakh. And Aydar dreamed of becoming an engineer. He worked as an engineer, having graduated from the faculty of mechanization of the Kazan Agrarian University. And not just a simple engineer, but the main one. Moreover, in the largest agricultural enterprise of the Arsk region - LLC "Agrocomplex" Ak bars ". And he worked in this position for 9 years. Until he started beekeeping.
“It happened rather by chance,” Aidar says, smiling. - Last year, my brother Niyaz and I decided to start a small apiary of 10 hives. - The year turned out to be successful, and we immediately received a quarter of a ton of honey. And he offered to expand the unexpected business and try our luck in the grant competition of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan. We went to the Association of Farmers, received advice there, prepared and submitted documents to the ministry, presented ourselves. A month later, we learned that we had won a grant - 2.5 million rubles. Nobody believed it right away ...
Aydar had to resign from the engineers, but he does not regret it. The feeling of being a master now gives him strength to cope with difficulties, and multiplies the smallest joys from good luck. And there they are, behind the farmer: more than a hundred multi-colored hives are located in a picturesque place - on the slope of a ravine, next to an acacia planting. And bees are buzzing in every hive. There are also two carriages for Omshanik, there is a utility room with the farm name on a plate, and even a small green fence.
“The three of us are delving into the intricacies of beekeeping - me, Damir’s wife, who graduated from KCTI, and brother Niyaz,” the farmer notes. - There are many secrets in this matter, but we are trying to master modern knowledge.
