The head breeding enterprise "Elita" of the Vysokogorsky district summed up the results of the livestock industry for 11 months of 2020. The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Lenar Garipov, Head of the Main Directorate of Veterinary Medicine of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan Almaz Khisamutdinov, Head of the Main State Agricultural Directorate of Pedigree Business in Livestock of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan Rishat Zaripov, as well as heads of agricultural administrations and republican state veterinary associations animal husbandry and heads of selection and pedigree services of agriculture and food departments in municipal areas.
Lеnar Garipov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, briefed the audience on the results of the livestock industry for 11 months of this year. In his speech, he focused on the issues of milk and meat production, the number of cattle, as well as the analysis of the work of farms.
Today, the number of cattle in the republic is 689.5 thousand heads, including cows - 231.2 thousand heads, pigs - 455.3 thousand heads, sheep and goats - 53 thousand heads, horses - 20.1 thousand heads
For 11 months of 2020, agricultural enterprises produced 1,296 thousand tons of milk (105% in relation to last year), 376.4 thousand tons of meat (103%), including (raised) cattle - 90.3 thousand tons (101%), pigs - 88.4 thousand tons (105%), poultry - 195.7 thousand tons (103%)
In the republic, as of December 23, the gross daily milk yield in agricultural organizations and peasant farms is 3655.6 tons.
The Sabinsky, Atninsky, Bugulminsky, Tetyushsky and Kukmorsky districts were among the leaders in terms of milk production growth.
