Agricultural fairs: Despite the frosty weather, trade started early in the morning
Today in Kazan, Nizhnekamsk, Zelenodolsk region and Naberezhnye Chelny, fairs for the sale of agricultural products, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, were held. Products and goods were brought by agricultural producers and enterprises from the municipal districts of the republic.
Despite the frosty weather, trading began early in the morning, and by 6 am it was already in full swing. Customers loaded sugar, flour, meat, fish, milk, butter, honey, sausages, cheese, eggs, potatoes, vegetables and much more into bags and carts - all at affordable prices and made in Tatarstan. The farmers themselves were glad to have the opportunity to sell their products.
The fairs were inspected by deputy ministers, heads of municipal districts and heads of agro-industrial complex units and specialists of the ministry. The citizens can request other products which are needed directly at the fairgrounds. It is worth noting that the earliest buyers at the fairs are, of course, the older generation. They come from 5 am, and the weather gets colder every day, so tea tables with pastries were organized on the grounds.
Buyers note that the fairs have become not only an excellent opportunity to purchase environmentally friendly farm products of local production, but also a real celebration, with a concert program and a sincere friendly and attentive attitude towards each customer.
Organization of fairs requires a lot of work. The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan treats them with great responsibility and the work on organizing such socially significant events will continue.
